Spiral Farm

Drama

The arrival of two outsiders disrupt life on the commune for 17-year-old Anahita who is forced to question her future. Anahita secretly years to be a dancer and longs to put some space between herself and her kooky mom, Dianic. Tempted by the outside world (and a boy), she leaves her isolated, hippie-run community and takes the chance to audition for a place in a dance company in this coming-of-age drama.

Programmer’s Notes: Amanda Plummer leads the way from the opening scenes with a memorable performance in this coming-of-age drama. There is a quiet intensity throughout this film, and hard questions that wait for their answers throughout. A small indie film for lovers of independent cinema, and sufficiently raw and heartfelt with a memorable ending.
